I think… I found the hardest thing about my Keto Diet.
The Protein ration.
In this diet, I know what to cut out so I don’t take in a lot of carbs and honestly, it wasn’t so hard to find alternatives to eat to satisfy my hunger. And because of this (unpolished) diet plan I’m doing, I don’t even really feel hungry a lot of times. So this is okay.
At first, I thought meeting my Fat requirement will be the toughest coz I need to eat a looooot! But that’s better because there’s a lot of food that doesn’t have carbs in it but high in fat. And there’s a lot of fat bomb recipes out there, too!
But protein… man, the required protein I need is seriously so difficult to meet. Because most food that are high in fat is also high in protein! Like, I was checking out the macros for a cup of pork rinds. One of the greatest snack you can have for keto diet! And although it’s mostly fat and 0 carbs, the protein in this particular food is also quite high. Same for my almonds. Like, wtf. What do I even eat?
