And the 44th US President is………. BARACK OBAMA~!

I admit I don’t follow politics too closely but for once, I really have this compelling feeling to root for Obama. I still think he is the person the United States needs. Of course I know he will win this election but a little part of me was still scared for Obama and the whole of America.

Just imagine if Mitt Romney wins. A greedy person who can’t even empathized with the common people when he, as a President supposedly, should be serving the nation composed of ‘commoners‘… But since he was born privileged, he doesn’t grasp the concept of how the real world works. He dismisses the most relevant issues, due to  his lack of foreign policy experience, which can be catastrophic!

But the fact that he doesn’t believe in women’s rights and equality just gave him the worst image for me. What America needs is a strong and open minded President that can lead the nation to success. Unfortunately, he’s just not cut for it. And also sucks for him coz Obama’s got it going.

Obama is just amazing. He’s got a strong leadership but at the same time sympathy for people. He’s all for progress and equality. And his strong belief that America will walk a successful path is admirable. He’s got passion and drive. Very sincere. And let’s not forget the fact that he’s got experience.

And to quote an excerpt from him:

“This country has more wealth than any nation, but that’s not what makes us rich. We have the most powerful military in history, but that’s not what makes us strong. Our university, our culture are all the envy of the world, but that’s not what keeps the world coming to our shores. What makes America exceptional are the bonds that hold together the most diverse nation on Earth, the belief that our destiny is shared — that this country only works when we accept certain obligations to one another and to future generations, so that the freedom which so many Americans have fought for and died for come with responsibilities as well as rights, and among those are love and charity and duty and patriotism. That’s what makes America great.”

Seriously gives me the chills…

To you Barack Obama:
